Orientation

Queen's University International Centre (QUIC) organizes orientations for international and exchange students each year right before the start of fall and winter semester. Students will have the chance to meet other international or exchange students, be introduced to the Queen’s University campus and its surrounding area, and learn more about housing, health insurance, and working on campus.

New, Exchange, Worldly and Transfer Student (NEWTS) orientation is for students who enter Queen’s University for the first time, but not as first-year students. The program helps upper-year students from all over the world to transition to Queen’s. It happens once a year at the beginning of fall semester.

Smith Engineering also hosts an orientation mixer for international and exchange students at the beginning of fall semester.
